Class 2 HGV Driver

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Class 2 vehicles to transport goods
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
• Safely load, secure, and unload cargo, adhering to weight and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including proof of delivery and mileage logs.
• Communicate effectively with transport managers, warehouse staff, and customers.
• Report any vehicle defects, delays, or incidents promptly.
• Ensure timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 HGV licence.
• Up-to-date Driver ADR qualification
• Proven experience driving articulated lorries or similar heavy goods vehicles.
• Good understanding of and transport regulations.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling when required.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
