Isle of Man FA Cup semi-final
31st March, 2014
Ramsey will meet our sponsored team, St George's in the IOMFA Cup final after the grand slam-chasers brushed aside St Mary's 5-1 at the Bowl on Saturday 29th March.
Ciaran McNulty netted the opener from the penalty spot after a handball from a St Marys player, only for St Mary's to level matters soon after.
However, Geordies, Johnny Myers scored a superb individual goal before Calum Morrissey doubled their advantage with a header in the second half.
McNulty then grabbed his second of the game and substitute Sam Caine rounded off the win in injury time.
St Mary's were reduced to 10 men when Glover was given a straight red for violent behaviour after headbutting Geordies goalkeeper Grant Dawson.
St Georges have already won the Eric Fletcher Charity Shield and the Railway Cup this season and are currently the Premier League leaders. Ramsey have not been finalists in the FA Cup for more than a decade and all are looking forward to the match on Easter Monday at the Bowl.
