The Steam Packet Comapany sat that this year’s TT Festival was the busiest for a decadewith the exception of the centenary year in 2007.

Arrival Figures show that the Company carried more passengers during the TT Fortnight than in the last 10 years.

Between May 23rd and June 8th more than 35,000 passengers travelled to the Island on the ferries – a 4.3 per cent increase on the same period last year.

There was also a 3.4 per cent increase in the number of motorcycles being carried – which was up to over 11,000.
