RMT Union backs Steam Packet

The Rail, Maritime and Transport Union (RMT) have issued a warning to any other operator attempting to set up a rival freight service to the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company.
The RMT is concerned with safeguarding jobs and employment standards at the company and say freight company Mezeron no longer poses a threat, but the rights of seafarers must be protected.
