Manx Grand Prix 2011
25th July, 2011
The 2011 Manx Grand Prix Festival is less than a month away with practice and qualifying for the races getting underway on Saturday 20th August
The two week festival, which has been held ever since 1923, will also mark the centenary of racing on the 37 mile mountain course which was first used in 1911.
Away from the mountain course, the Manx National Two Day Trial takes place between practice and race weeks and the following weekend will see The Manx Classic Two Day Trial for older machinery. Vintage bikes are also celebrated by the Isle of Man branch of the Vintage Motorcycle Club who run a series of road runs and rallies to Laxey and Castletown.
