Isle of Man Christmas Deliveries

23rd December, 2010

The widespread snow which started falling on Friday 17th December and continued into the following day has had a huge impact on our Christmas deliveries. Our UK parcel partners have suffered delays and many online retailers have actually announced they have stopped accepting orders as they will be unable to fulfil delivery promises in time for Christmas.

The knock on effect of the UK delays and the continued icy conditions have meant that we are running behind schedule. Our abilities are hampered by the ongoing problems of accessing many estates and minor roads which have not been cleared or gritted and remain inaccessible.

Our depot will remain open until 5pm on Christmas Eve and customers can collect parcels from us, a phone call to check availability would be worthwhile. We will resume normal service on Wednesday 29th December and will endeavour to deliver any remaining goods on hand.

We would like to thank all our valued customers for their business this year and wish you all a Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
