Buy local pledge by Isle of Man Government

The Isle of Man Government has announced a new co-ordinated approach to its buying of goods and services that aims both to support the local economy by keeping expenditure on the Island and achieve better value for taxpayers' money.

This common sense approach will see ensure that Manx based businesses who contribute to the Manx Exchequer are preferred suppliers to Government as opposed to those businesses owned and operated by interests outside of the Island.
