Aer Arrann to be baled out by haulage firm Eddie Stobart?

Cash strapped Irish airline, Aer Arran who connect the Isle of Man with London City and Dublin lost 4.5 million euros due to the problems caused by the Icelandic ash cloud earlier this year and as a result went into examinership, a form of administration, in August.
Meanwhile British haulage company, Stobart Group have come forward with an offer of investment that could save the troubled airline.
The Cumbrian-based haulier has offered to invest 2.5 million euros in the hope that this could help the airline to escape bankruptcy.
