MIC expertise required for oversize portakabin delivery

The Portakabins measured some 4 metres in width and the overall length of our vehicles was 19 metres. All relevant permission with the traffic authorities and Police was obtained and the movements went off without a hitch with all 5 cabins delivered on schedule.
Due to the width a police escort was required to clear the road ahead and our own escort vehicle followed up behind to oversee the operation.
Narrow width at the pedestrian crossing in Ballasalla required arrangements to be made to remove a set of traffic lights to allow passage of the 5 loads.
Another succesful job carried out with professionalism, Manx Independent Carriers remain the number one carrier for abnormal loads to the Isle of Man.
