MIC expertise required for bridge move

Manx Independent Carriers expertise in moving abnormal loads was called for when we recently delivered the new footbridge which will span the TT course near Signpost Corner between the new Bemahague Secondary School and the Governors Hill housing estate.
The huge bridge was delivered in 6 loads on extendable trailers with some of the loads being more than 20 metres in length, almost 5 metres in height and 4 metres wide. This project was carefully planned with the highway authorities and the Police to ensure that the delivery was on time with minimal disruption to the travelling public.
