MIC expertise required for giant bridge load
10th October, 2011
Manx Independent Carriers expertise in moving abnormal loads was called for when we recently delivered the new footbridge which will span the TT course near Signpost Corner between the new Bemahague Secondary School and the Governors Hill housing estate.
The huge bridge sections were delivered in 6 loads on extendable trailers with some of the loads being more than 20 metres in length, almost 5 metres in height and 4 metres wide. This project was carefully planned with the highway authorities and the Police to ensure that the delivery was on time with minimal disruption to the travelling public.
Manx Independent Carriers are regarded as experts in the field of project management and logistics and have a great track record of moving abnormal and unusual loads. Visit our projects page for examples of some of the work we have done.
